Museum of Saint Anthony and the Demon

The Museum of Sant Antoni & the Demon in Sa Pobla showcases what happens across the island when the Sant Antoni festival is celebrated.

The Museum of Sant Antoni i el Dimoni de Sa Pobla is devoted to the traditional and popular festival of Sant Antoni (Saint Anthony) which is held across the island in January. It is one of the best-known traditional celebrations on the island.

The museum takes you on an tour of the different elements which make up the Sant Antoni festival, and includes info and exhibitions on the dimonis (devils) and capgrossos (big festival heads), amongst others.

It also has a photographic exhibition, drawings, symbols and a film highlighting the festival, which in Sa Pobla has been going since the 14th century.
